Shipping Telescopes Across India
Telescopes are large, fragile and optically aligned, which makes shipping them genuinely different from shipping most consumer goods. Here is how we handle it.
Free shipping, everywhere in India
Shipping is included in the listed price on every telescope, to every serviceable pin code in India. There is no separate delivery charge at checkout and no minimum order value.
Packaging
Telescopes ship in the manufacturer's original packaging, which is engineered for transit and is considerably better at protecting an optical tube than anything we could repack it into. Optical tubes travel with their dust caps fitted and mounts travel disassembled, as the manufacturer intends.
Delivery time and tracking
Delivery time depends on your location and on stock availability for the specific model. We confirm the dispatch date and share tracking details directly with you once your order is placed.
If you need a firm delivery date before ordering — for a gift or an event — message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay.
If something arrives damaged
Transit damage is uncommon but not unknown. If the outer packaging looks crushed, punctured or opened:
- Photograph the packaging before you open it further, including any courier labels.
- Photograph the contents as you unpack, before assembling anything.
- Message us the photographs on WhatsApp the same day. We will handle the claim.
Do not assemble or attempt to repair a damaged instrument first — it complicates the claim and can turn a replaceable problem into a permanent one.
Collimation after shipping
Reflector telescopes can arrive slightly out of collimation after a long journey — this is normal and is not damage. It is a ten-minute adjustment, and we will walk you through it over WhatsApp during your setup call. Our collimation guide covers the same process in writing.
