Who these terms are with
These terms govern your use of https://nakshatrascopes.in and any purchase you make through it. The site is operated by Nakshatra Scopes, based in Delhi, Delhi, India. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm the order and dispatch it, not at the moment of payment.
We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if the item is out of stock, if the listed price was materially incorrect, or if we cannot verify the payment or delivery details. Telescope stock is limited and imported, so availability can change between listing and order.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping within India is included in the listed price.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or banking credentials — see our privacy policy for detail.
Prices may change without notice, but the price shown at the time your order is confirmed is the price you pay.
Product information and specifications
Specifications are taken from the manufacturer's official documentation. Derived figures we publish — maximum useful magnification, resolving power, limiting magnitude — are calculated from those specifications using standard optical formulae and are theoretical values.
Observing expectations described on this site are honest estimates for typical conditions. What you can actually see through any telescope depends on your sky, atmospheric conditions, dark adaptation and experience, none of which we control. Statements about what a telescope will show are guidance, not a warranty of performance.
Product images are supplied by the manufacturer and may show accessories not included. The "In the box" list on each product page is the authoritative statement of what ships.
Delivery
We ship across India at no extra charge. Delivery timelines depend on your location and on stock, and we confirm the dispatch date with you after your order is placed.
Risk passes to you on delivery. If your order arrives with damaged packaging, photograph it before unpacking further and contact us the same day so we can raise a transit claim.
Reflector telescopes may need collimation after transit. This is normal and is not a defect; we will guide you through the adjustment.
Warranty
Telescopes carry the manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects. We will help you raise and pursue a claim under it.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, disassembly, attempted repair, moisture damage from storing the instrument while wet, or normal wear to consumable parts.
Contact us before returning anything so the item travels with a reference and is not lost in transit.
Returns and cancellations
You can cancel an order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from its description, contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
We may suspend an account used for fraudulent orders, payment abuse, or attempts to disrupt the site.

The guides, comparisons and buying advice on this site are published in good faith and represent our honest opinion. They are general guidance and not a personal recommendation for your specific circumstances.
Text, layout and original photography on this site belong to us. Manufacturer product images and specifications remain the property of their respective owners. You may quote and link to our content with attribution; wholesale reproduction is not permitted.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Observing the Sun through a telescope without a purpose-made, properly fitted solar filter causes immediate and permanent blindness. Never do it. We accept no liability for injury resulting from solar observation, and we do not supply solar filters with any telescope.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
